In 2022 we participated in the annual WeCare event, organized by MillerKnoll. Participating organizations created crafts with students from Detroit Enterprise Academy and Hutchinson Elementary & Middle School. Our sock snowmen carried over the theme from the Warming Wall project in 2021 using socks to make friendly seasonal friends. To make the round shape, the stocks are stuffed with black-eyed peas which can then be used to celebrate New Year’s with a traditional dish.
