A super temporary and super spontaneous glowing installation of lines and volume.
A pair of installations at the entry points for the luminary night party of the 2019 FOOLmoon, this super temporary pop-up existed for only 12 hours — from construction to take-down.
The entire installation, located in the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market pavilions, was conceived and created on site by Do Good Work in a super temporary fashion. Reacting to the structural conditions, the pop-up became a design exercise in impromptu creations with a design language of making something out of the ordinary. The installations explored the actions of volume-creation and line projection. The pro-bono design-make effort is meant to inspire and create spaces for people to meet during the event.
